To prepare Ford Field for the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions grounds crew has had to pull off a quick and unexpected turnaround in the past 24 hours. The Lions played the Green Bay Packers yesterday, and even though the crowd will be largely anti-Vikings, the building still needed to be redone to at least look like a home game for the Vikes.

Not bad at all. The stadium has also recently hosted the MAC Championship Game, requiring some branding updates around the facility. But do you think the Lions crew will go out of its way to switch out the Lions walkout tunnel banner, goal post padding, and general fieldside flair for whatever purple stuff they can find? After all, if there are going to be Lions logos in the crowd, why not leave a few sitting near the field?
