Giants Vs. Vikings: Ahmad Bradshaw Breaks Game Open, New York Up Big

A couple quarters after a confounding 73-yard run by big New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs, RB Ahmad Bradshaw added a 48-yard burst for a score late in the third. The Giants are now up 21-3.

Jacobs has 83 yards, and Bradshaw has 81, combining for 63 more yards than the entire Minnesota Vikings offense. The Giants are completely dominating both lines of scrimmage, with their defense holding RB Adrian Peterson to 1.8 yards per carry and sacking QB Tarvaris Jackson three times.

Giants QB Eli Manning continues to nudge his evening back toward respectability, now having thrown for 141 yards, a score, and two picks in 30 attempts. After a decent start, Jackson has all but disappeared, throwing for only 98 yards and a pick. Jackson has taken six hits from the Giants and one from Peterson, and looks like it. Several times he’s been shown wincing or limping after a play.
