Thursday Night Football, 49ers Vs. Chargers: Antonio Gates And Malcom Floyd Inactive, According To Report
Gates is no surprise, but Chargers fans had penciled in Floyd to play tonight. Floyd’s hamstring was expected to be good to go, but it looks like Vincent Jackson is going to see even more passes than had been expected.
Jackson caught his first two passes of the year last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he’ll have to catch more than that with the depleted Bolts receiving corps. With the team’s two leading receivers out, other fantasy options include … OK, I just spent three minutes trying to find a Chargers receiver who has both (A) caught a decent amount of passes this year, and (B) caught a pass within the past few weeks. Just play Jackson.
