On the game’s opening drive Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick threw his 14th touchdown pass, throwing a one-yard rollout toss to Lesean McCoy and adding to Philly’s league-leading first-quarter scoring. The Houston Texans gave up 88 yards in 11 plays as the drive peeled over seven minutes off the clock.

Vick completed seven of eight passes, hitting five different receivers. The Eagles didn’t take any downfield shots — instead, Vick found wide-open receivers underneath pretty much every time he dropped back. He also ran for a handful of yards.
Texans CB Jason Allen is going to have a busy evening, already having to make three tackles. Eagles return man Jorrick Calvin ran back the opening kick 102 yards, but a holding penalty negated everything but his uncomfortably prolonged Dougie.
