The Atlanta Falcons are cruising right now as they enter Week 14 sitting at 10-2 and in control of the NFC South. The NFL playoff picture says there are four different ways the Falcons can clinch a playoff spot this weekend against the Carolina Panthers. Considering the opponent, they should be able to accomplish step one which is winning this weekend.
NFL Picks Week 14: Atlanta Falcons Vs. Carolina Panthers
The Falcons are among the most consistent teams in the NFL. They run the ball well, and pass it efficiently for the league’s sixth ranked offense. Their defense? Also top 10 coming in at No. 7 in the NFL. They do a lot of things right.
The Panthers are consistently inconsistent which is a given considering their current quarterback situation. I don't imagine Jimmy Clausen will be able to light up the Falcons defense. Instead, this should probably be a long day for the Panthers once again.
The Falcons are heavy favorites according to NFL odds which say they’re a 7.5 point road favorite. The Falcons will likely get to 11 wins this weekend and one step closer to winning the NFC South.
