Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning’s late-season struggles aren’t showing tonight. The star passer just put together Indy’s second long scoring drive, a ten-play, 59-yard operation that ended with a one-yard toss to WR Pierre Garcon. Manning has completed 13 of 18 for 155 yards and a touchdown.
Colts Vs. Titans Score: Peyton Manning To Pierre Garcon Puts Indy Up 14-0
The drive featured a 50-yard bomb to WR Reggie Wayne and a critical defensive holding penalty on Chris Hope that extended the affair near the goal line.
The drive was set up by a fumble by Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt, with DE Dwight Freeney doing the forcing.
Indianapolis is dominating Tennessee on every line of the box score — more than doubling total plays, time of possession, total yards, third-down conversions, and so forth. Except for yards per rush. So there’s that. QB Kerry Collins is four of eight for 31 yards, most of it to Britt. By the time I finished typing this, the Titans have already punted again.
