After scoring to end the first half, the Tennessee Titans made it two in a row, adding a touchdown coming-out of halftime to pull within seven of the Indianapolis Colts. To open the third quarter, Kerry Collins led the Titans on a drive, spanning seven plays and 62 yards, capped by a Collins pass to tight end Craig Stevens. The Colts were on the verge of running away with the game in the first half, opening a 21 point lead over Tennessee late in the second quarter.

A 20-yard Chris Johnson run, 13-yard Nate Washington catch and 18-yard Kenny Britt catch set the titans up deep in the red zone. Collins finished the job, finding Stevens for seven yards and the score.
The Colts answered on the next drive, using a 46-yard Peyton Manning pass to Reggie Wayne to set-up first and goal at the eight. Three plays later, however, the Colts stalled inside the 10, setting up a Adam Vinatieri field goal to make it a two-score game.
Early in the third quarter, the Colts lead the Titans, 24-14.
