Vikings Vs. Bears: Adrian Peterson Scores Following Jared Allen Strip

The Minnesota Vikings are looking alive to start the second half of their Sunday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears. Defensive end Jared Allen was able to sack and strip the ball from Jay Cutler on the Bears' first possession of the second half and the visiting team's offense was able to capitalize when Adrian Peterson scored his team's first touchdown of the game.

The Vikings needed to drive just 44 yards thanks to Allen’s strip-sack. Allen has been one of the lone bright spots of the Minnesota defense this game as he’s already registered two hits on Cutler in addition to the sack that allowed the Vikings to get their first touchdown of the game.

From then on, it wasn’t all that difficult for the Vikings to move the ball down the field, converse to what was seen from the team in the first half. Peterson has just 36 yards on 11 rushes, but the touchdown from four yards out could represent a change for the remainder of this game.
