The Indianapolis Colts have been all sorts of unimpressive in the first half of their game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately back-up running back Delone Carter was at least able to get them on the scoreboard, though, as his touchdown narrowed the gap to 28-7 in favor of the Saints as halftime closes in.
Colts Vs. Saints Score: Delone Carter Touchdown Gets Indianapolis On Board
Carter was forced into full-time duty due to a Joseph Addai injury earlier in the first half and, not surprisingly to those that have been following the situation in the Indianapolis backfield, has looked solid in his time on the field. The rookie out of Syracuse has rushed six times for 76 yards and the shutout-canceling touchdown.
The Colts still have a big lead, but at least Colts fans can point to Carter as a bright spot in the first half.
