A bad season in Miami is getting worse. Chad Henne, the Dolphins QB, has opted for shoulder surgery after suffering an injury in the Dolphins Week 4 loss. Jeff Darlington of NFL.com reports Henne will miss the rest of the season.
Chad Henne Injury: Dolphins QB Reportedly Out For The Season
The injury is to his non-throwing shoulder and it was previously reported that the Dolphins feared it could cost him the entire 2011 season. Apparently, that’s the case.
The Dolphins turn to Matt Moore, the quarterback on the roster behind Henne. Miami also tried out a couple of quarterbacks this week, including former Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle and former Bills QB Trent Edwards.
Reports say the Dolphins previously reached out to both David Garrard and Jake Delhomme but they couldn't come to an agreement.
The Dolphins are 0-4 and their coach is on the hot seat in the midst of an incredibly disappointing season in Miami.
Dolphins fans over at SB Nation’s The Phinsider won’t be too happy to hear the news, except for those on the Suck For Luck bandwagon.
