The Giants own a 4-1 record straight up over the Seahawks in their last five matchups.
NFL Odds And Lines Week 5: Seahawks Vs. Giants
The Seattle Seahawks will hit the road to face off against the New York Giants, entering the weekend as the biggest underdog in the NFL. Seattle will look to revive an offense averaging just 14.5 points per game.
The Seahawks enter the game at 1-3 and ranking in the bottom half of the league in nearly every offensive and defensive category. A rushing offense led by Marshawn Lynch ranks 31st in the NFL with just 67.5 yards per game. Unfortunately the passing game hasn't fared much better with Tarvaris Jackson at the helm, ranking 28th at 186.5 yards per game.
The Giants ride in on a three-game winning streak, despite not doing anything particularly well, statistically. The G-men rank ninth in the league scoring 25.5 points per game and 20th giving up 21.8 points per game on defense. Eli Manning got off to a rough start this season before throwing six touchdowns to zero interceptions in his last two outings. The running game hasn't fared as well, however, averaging just 87.5 yards per game on the year.
Against the spread, this series has been relatively close, with the Giants holding a 3-2-1 advantage in their last six meetings. The over-under this week is set at 43 points, and it should be noted that both teams have gone over in six of the last eight games these teams played against one another.
