Hopefully the nation enjoy high-scoring football games, because this promises to be that. Neither the Green Bay Packers nor the Atlanta Falcons seem to like playing defense all that much, and both of them have shown a pretty solid penchant for moving the ball up and down the field.
Packers Vs. Falcons: TV Schedule, Game Time, Announcers And More
The Falcons and Packers should be lighting up the night when they face off in Week 5.
Despite a 4-0 record, the Packers are particularly vulnerable in the secondary, where they are allowing 335.8 yards per game. The Falcoholic believes this is one area where the Falcons can close the statistical gap:
The recipe for a Falcons win is pretty simple, yet delicious: Pass all over the woeful Packers secondary. Pass to Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez. Get Harry Douglas involved. Throw to Jacquizz Rodgers. Continue to make my head spin by passing to Michael Turner. Just pass. The Falcons will want to have Turner involved in case he breaks out and to make some sort of gesture toward keeping the Packers honest, but c'mon. That secondary needs to be picked clean.
