Chad Clifton has been a staple of the Green Bay Packers offensive line since coming out of Tennessee for his rookie season in 2000. Unfortunately, it seems as though the faithful Packers fans -- and quarterback Aaron Rodgers -- will no longer be able to count on the play of the left tackle for the remainder of the Sunday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Clifton got tangled up with a bull-rushing Falcons lineman and left guard T.J. Lang as he Rodgers dropped back to pass when he was tripped up and went to the ground with the leg injury. Sunday Night Football's Michele Tafoya reports that the injury was to his hamstring, saying his return is doubtful.
The injury comes at a terrible time for the Packers as it now means that both starting offensive tackles are out of the game. Marshall Newhouse was already subbing in at right tackle for Bryan Bulaga, who has been out for a couple of weeks due to injury.
