Mason Crosby has earned a reputation as one of the most reliable players on the Green Bay Packers roster ever since coming out of the University of Colorado in 2007. The kicker proved once again during Green Bay's game on Sunday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons that he's reliable as ever when he knocked through a 56-yard field goal.
VIDEO: Mason Crosby Kicks Longest Field Goal In Green Bay History
Crosby’s 56-yard field goal made the score 14-9, still in favor of the Falcons, which isn’t exactly worth an update at first glance. When considering the kick tied the record for the longest field goal in Packers history, however, it makes sense that the moment was worth capturing.
Crosby actually tied his own record, the first of which came on September 12, 2010 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
