The Green Bay Packers offense didn't have the greatest first half in team history, but it seems the passing game has decided to turn things around in the second half as they have now scored 22 unanswered points to give the visitors a 22-14 lead against the Atlanta Falcons. The latest touchdown came on a beautiful play-action pass from Aaron Rodgers to Greg Jennings.
VIDEO: Aaron Rodgers Connects With Greg Jennings To Add To Green Bay Packers Lead
The scoring play was a 29-yard toss from Rodgers to Jennings, which is available in video form below, but the drive all around was quite excellent considering the Packers offensive line is missing both of its starting tackles. Rodgers hit tight end Jermichael Finley twice, despite his dropping a sure touchdown in the first half, and connected with rookie Randall Cobb before eventually finding Jennings on his way to the end zone.
Green Bay will now look to hold on for the rest of the game in hopes of keeping their undefeated season intact, though the Falcons need just a touchdown and two-point conversion to tie it.
