Vince Young, Not Michael Vick, Might Start Week 13 For Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid announced today that quarterback Vince Young will continue to take reps with the first team in today's practice, according to the Eagles media department. That makes it likely that Young will get the start this week against Seattle, in place of Michael Vick.

Today’s practice is the only full practice of the week for the Eagles, who have a long flight for a Thursday night game in Seattle.

Quarterback Michael Vick is still recovering from two broken ribs he suffered in a week 10 loss to the Cardinals. This will be the third game that Vick has missed since suffering the injury.

Young looked the part late in the Eagles' week 11 win over the New York Giants. He threw for 400 yards last week, with one touchdown and one interception, but the Eagles were handled easily by the Patriots. In two starts, Young has completed 49 of 85 passes for 658 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions.
