Miami Dolphins Believe Vontae Davis Was Drunk Night Before Practice

Getty ImagesAccording to Salguero, the Dolphins believe that Davis was drunk before the practice in question and that he showed up to practice hungover. Tony Sparano, understandably, didn’t have a lot to say when he was asked about the situation and was unwilling to give specifics.
Brandon Marshall was a little less tight-lipped, and didn’t deny his argument with Davis when asked about it after the Dolphins’ win over the Chiefs.

Perhaps more importantly to Bush’s fantasy owners, it’s now looking more and more like he may be a featured back in the Dolphins attack. Bush has only carried the ball less than 10 times once this season and this was the second straight week and the third time in five weeks that he ended up with at least 15 touches. A week ago, he had 103 yards on 15 carries and four catches for 17 yards.

The Miami Dolphins have had precious few moments to feel good about themselves during their 0-7 start. Anthony Fasano has at least given them a couple today. The Dolphins tight end has caught a pair of touchdowns to give his team a 14-3 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Fasano’s second touchdown was especially nice. Quarterback Matt Moore rolled out to his right and then spotted Fasano wide down the left sideline. Moore didn’t necessarily make a great throw, but he really didn’t have to, as Fasano had to nearly stop in order to make the play.

Thomas, as Brian McIntyre noted earlier this week, has yet to play in back-to-back weeks for the Dolphins, so how long he’ll be able to stay on the field will be an issue. It also remains to be seen how much head coach Tony Sparano will use Thomas, seeing as the hamstring injury just isn’t going away.
