NFL Odds And Lines Week 15: Patriots Vs. Broncos

The Denver Broncos seek to remain atop the AFC West standings with three games remaining on the schedule. The New England Patriots stand in the way of that happening.

The Denver Broncos -- all they do is win. The team is 7-1 under the leadership of Tim Tebow and riding a six-game winning streak. But will the New England Patriots be able to stop Tebow Time (or Denver Broncos Time, as Tebow prefers it to be called)? The Patriots opened as 4.5 point favorites, according to Odds Shark, but it moved quickly to between 6 and 7.5 points. But that's exactly where Tebow and the Broncos want the Patriots.

The Broncos, 8-5, hold a one-game lead over the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West. The easiest way to make the playoffs for the team is to win the remaining three games on the schedule. This is the toughest game for the Broncos on paper. The team will finally face a real quarterback in Tom Brady, who will have record-setting tight end Rob Gronkowski as his favorite target.

The over/under of 46 points might be a bit high if Tim Tebow is unable to exploit the Patriots weak secondary. But don’t underestimate the ability of the Broncos defense to slow down the Patriots offense, either.
