Patriots Vs. Broncos: TV Schedule, Game Time, Announcers And More

The New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos, and will be heavily favored to avoid being the seventh victim of Tebow Time.

Week 15 of the NFL season features four watchable primetime games and a number of Sunday day games with playoff implications, but the matchup between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos is perhaps the most intriguing. On paper, this should be the end of Tebow Time. Tim Tebow has won game after game against average teams with below average quarterbacks. The Patriots and Tom Brady can be called neither.

The last time Tebow and the Broncos played against a playoff-caliber team with a good quarterback, they were crushed. Tebow looked terrible and the Broncos' defense didn't look much better as the Detroit Lions slaughtered them 45-10 in Week 8. Since then, they've ripped off a six-game winning streak.

At 10-3 with Tom Brady putting up great numbers, the Patriots look like a team that should be able to defeat the Broncos easily. However, Brady has 11 interceptions on the season. It's not a terrible number, but it's more than most expected him to through through 13 games. Their pass defense hasn't been great either, with Devin McCourty struggling and utility man Julian Edelman having to play in some packages due to injuries. The Patriots defense isn't terrible, but it's not as good as it has been in the past. They will likely make Tebow look bad, but it's hardly a foregone conclusion.

This should be it, an end to Tebow Time. But then again, wasn’t that the case for ... every game? Isn’t it supposed to happen every week? Maybe this is just the perfect scenario for the legend of Tim Tebow to become even more absurd than anyone ever thought possible.
