VIDEO: Tom Brady Touchdown And Spike Widens Patriots’ Lead

Not content to let Tim Tebow be the only quarterback with a touchdown run in the game, Tom Brady scrambled one-yard into the end zone with less than two minutes to go in the first half. Brady’s touchdown gave the Patriots a 24-16 lead over the Broncos.

For good measure, Brady added the hard spike after pushing through to the end zone. Witness the other quarterback scoring and spiking in the video below.

New England and Denver appear as though they are headed for a shoot out, probably one that comes down to the wire with a fourth quarter possession. It’s the kind of thing fans have grown accustomed to with the kind of all comebacks.

Brady and the Patriots offense have been efficient and effective. Check out this pass from Brady to Wes Welker earlier in the game.

New England has 17 unanswered points in the second quarter, with the clock winding down on the first half.
