The Kansas City Chiefs picked up the guy that was supposed to be the Chicago Bears' quarterback. Instead, Jay Cutler's replacement became Matt Cassel's replacement and the cosmos were thrown askew for a moment. Whether or not Kyle Orton plays in this battle remains to be seen.
NFL Picks And Predictions Week 13: Chiefs Vs. Bears
The Chicago Bears will be looking to pad their record with a game against the Chiefs this week. Is Kansas City ready to break the glass and remove Kyle Orton?
Orton should matter less than Matt Forte's ability to find running room. The burden for the Chiefs will be scoring points against the Bears defense. Kansas City is averaging less than 14 points per game.
Pete Prisco picks the Bears to win this game in a low-scoring affair.
Expect to see newly acquired Kyle Orton against his former team here. Tyler Palko will start for the Chiefs, which means it's Palk vs. Caleb Hanie to open the game. But I get the idea that Orton will get in quickly. That's an advantage to the Chiefs. Whoever plays, expect a tight, low-scoring game. Chicago finds a way.
ESPN’s brain trust goes solid for the Bears in this one.
Though the Bears seem more than capable of losing this game, they should get the win this week.
