The Kansas City Chiefs have had quite a tumultuous season. Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears was yet another chapter in their uneven 2011. They managed to pick up a win by a final score of 10-3, but lost quarterback Kyle Orton to an injury on his first pass attempt of the game.

Orton came into the game to replace Tyler Palko in the first quarter. Orton was pressured on a flea flicker pass and his hand bent awkwardly on the pass attempt. He went to the sidelines immediately to have his hand looked at.
The early diagnosis of Orton’s injury appears to be a dislocated right index finger, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. There is no further word at this time as to the severity of the injury, or how long Orton can be expected to be out of action.
Palko came back into the game to replace Orton, and finished the game 17-for-30 with 157 passing yards and a touchdown.
