The Kansas City Chiefs ending a 21-quarter streak without scoring an offensive touchdown in dramatic fashion. Dexter McCluster caught a Tyler Palko Hail Mary pass off a deflection at the end of the first half to give the Chiefs a 7-3 lead over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Up until McCluster’s 38-yard catch, the Chiefs were looking just as impotent on offense as they have looked for much of the season. Even including that catch, the Chiefs had just 147 total yards in the first half.
None of that really matters now, though, after replays upheld the improbable catch. On the play, Palko rolled out to his right and heaved his pass into the endzone without really looking where he was throwing it. Two Bears had a play on it, and Brian Urlacher was in perfect position to make the interception, but another Bears defender swatted it down. The ball fell to McCluster, who was able to wrestle the ball away from another Bears defender.
