The San Francisco 49ers will head north as they look to end the year with momentum against the divisional rival Seattle Seahawks. Most NFL picks and predictions favor the 49ers, but Sports Illustrated’s Peter King contrives a different plan.
The 49ers have four more wins than the Seahawks this season, but Sports Illustrated’s Peter King suggests that the result will be 17-10 in favor of the Seattle hosts.
I like the 49ers a lot, and think they have a heck of a shot to confound the offense-lovers in January and win one or two playoff games. I like Seattle a little more in this game because I tend to like the desperate team late in the season. And because you 49er fans get SOOOOOO angry when I pick against your team. It’s such a cute trait.
The only ESPN experts that picked Seattle to win were Mike Golic and Seth Wickersham while Les Carpenter went out on a limb to pick Seattle for Yahoo! Sports. It seems like King is in the minority, but the Seahawks have a shot.
