In the final week of one of the most noteworthy and polarizing regular seasons of any player in recent memory, Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos have a chance to clinch the playoffs just a year after finishing with the second-worst record in the NFL. All they have to do is beat their division rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, at home at Invesco Field in Denver, and our partners at Odds Shark think they'll do just that; they're favored by 3.5 points.
NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Chiefs Vs. Broncos
The Broncos and Tim Tebow can clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Chiefs, but they’ve suffered back-to-back blowout losses.
It's a commonly held belief that, for football, the home team is granted a three-point cushion, so these teams seem evenly matched. The Chiefs gave the now 14-1 Green Bay Packers their only loss of the season to this point just two weeks ago, but fell in overtime to the Raiders last week.
The Broncos, meanwhile, have seen the wheels come off of the Tebow Express, courtesy of the defense. They’ve given up 40 points or more in consecutive games, though 14 of those against Buffalo in Week 16 were courtesy of Tebow’s left arm. This is as true a toss-up as there is, it seems.
