The Broncos, meanwhile, have seen the wheels come off of the Tebow Express, courtesy of the defense. They’ve given up 40 points or more in consecutive games, though 14 of those against Buffalo in Week 16 were courtesy of Tebow’s left arm. This is as true a toss-up as there is, it seems.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Seahawks Vs. Cardinals

Things did not turn out like most predicted in the NFC West. Both the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks have played much better than many expected. Both teams conclude their season this week going head-to-head. The winner will have an 8-8 record; the loser will be 7-9, the exact same record the Seahawks had last year when they won the NFC West.

Arizona, who hosts this game, opened the week as three-point favorites. Most odds makers still have them there, with a few dropping it to two and a half points. The Cardinals are 8-7 against the spread. The Seahawks are 10-4-1 against the spread. Seattle has been playing strong football, particularly on defense, and covering the spread this week is not particularly far fetched.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: 49ers Vs. Rams

A Rams loss seems to be a widely predicted outcome this week. San Francisco opened as 10-point favorites. The line has since moved to 12 points for some odds makers. St. Louis has been among the worst teams against the spread with just a 2-12-1 mark this season. The 49ers are the opposite, owning a 11-3-1 record against the spread.

In August, everyone just assumed that the Philadelphia Eagles would be resting their starters in Week 17, getting ready for the playoffs. Instead, they enter a season finale against the Washington Redskins hoping to finish at 8-8, saving jobs rather than resting starters for the playoffs.

The Eagles did finally start to get things together, winning their last three consecutive games. Washington has continued to struggle, losing a tennis match to the Vikings last week. Philly opened the week favored by nine and a half points. Since then the line has moved up to ten points. Washington is 6-8-1 against the spread. Philadelphia is 7-8 against the spread.

The Giants opened the week favored by two and a half points. The line has not moved much since then, but a few odds makers have made New York a full three-point favorite. Dallas is 5-9-1 against the spread. New York is 7-7-1 against the spread.

As far as the over/under goes, it’s set at 46 points. Either offense is capable of putting up points, depending on which version of it shows up for that game. Conversely, both defenses can clamp down on an opponent, but struggle with consistency. Most are taking the over.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Panthers Vs. Saints

    Getty Images

The last time these two teams met, in Week 5, the upstart Panthers gave the Saints a run for their money, losing by only three points. The Saints have tightened up since then, and they are now favored by anywhere from eight to nine and a half points, after opening the week as ten-point favorites.

As you might expect with two explosive offenses, the over/under is 55 points, highest of the week. The over would be a pretty safe bet, especially since there are stakes in this game.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Bills Vs. Patriots

Buffalo has big odds to overcome in the season finale. New England opened as 13-point favorites. Factoring in the last week of the season and limited reps for key starters, the line has moved downward ever so slightly. The Patriots are now favored by 11 and a half points by some. Buffalo is 6-8-1 against the spread. New England is 8-6-1 against the spread.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Bears Vs. Vikings

    Getty Images

Playoff hopes for the Chicago Bears went up in smoke a few weeks ago. Really, losing Jay Cutler and then Matt Forte doomed them. The Minnesota Vikings never really entertained playoff hopes this season. With all that meaninglessness surrounding one game with two teams devastated by injuries, what can fans and bettors expect?

This game has one of the narrowest lines of the week. Chicago opened the week as one-point favorites. Since then, the line has moved. Some odds makers now favor the Vikings by one point, while others have an even line on the game. The Bears are 6-8-1 against the spread. The Vikings have a 6-7-2 mark versus the spread.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Jets Vs. Dolphins

    Getty Images

The over/under on this game is a meager 41 points. A struggling Jets offense has failed to top the 20-point threshold in its last two games. Picking games in Week 17 is tough enough, and this one is anybody’s guess as you never know which version of these two teams will take the field.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Colts Vs. Jaguars

Jacksonville has continued to struggle, even after firing their head coach. Mostly, they struggle to score points, averaging fewer than 15 per game. That’s why the over/under on this one is sitting at 37 points, the lowest of the week.

Both coaches will be looking for the win to secure their own futures, so any thoughts of one team phoning it in for draft position can be dismissed now.

NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Lions Vs. Packers

    Getty Images

Green Bay opened as one and a half-point favorites in this game. That line has changed considerably thanks to news that the Packers might rest some of their starters in this game. Detroit is now favored by three and a half points, though 80 percent of bettors are still taking the Packers to cover. Detroit is 7-7-1 against the spread. Green Bay is 10-5 against the spread this season.

The over/under is 47 points on this game. Normally, that would seem low considering these two high-flying offenses, but with questions about starters playing, it’s a tough call.
