NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Colts Vs. Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts are both looking to end their season on a high note. Neither team has been favored much this season by the odds makers.

The Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars should be a throwaway game in the week's final season. However, there is plenty riding on this game in terms of the 2012 NFL Draft. If Indianapolis wins, they take themselves out of the top spot in the draft and the right to draft Andrew Luck, assuming the St. Louis Rams lose. A loss keeps Indy on top.

Jacksonville has continued to struggle, even after firing their head coach. Mostly, they struggle to score points, averaging fewer than 15 per game. That’s why the over/under on this one is sitting at 37 points, the lowest of the week.

The Jaguars opened the week as five-point favorites. A two-game winning streak from the Colts, in which they beat the Titans and the Texans, narrowed the line by about two points to three and a half. Both teams own a 6-9 record against the spread this season, a year in which neither have found themselves favored very often.

Both coaches will be looking for the win to secure their own futures, so any thoughts of one team phoning it in for draft position can be dismissed now.
