NFL Odds And Lines Week 17: Bills Vs. Patriots

Can the Buffalo Bills beat New England twice in one season? The odds say it’s a real long shot.

The New England Patriots have everything wrapped up with a week to spare before the playoffs start. Of course, Bill Belichick and his players have a week to rest in the first round thanks to owning the AFC's top seed. For the Bills, one more win would keep them out of the AFC East basement and end the season on a positive note after a hot start and a long fall.

Buffalo has big odds to overcome in the season finale. New England opened as 13-point favorites. Factoring in the last week of the season and limited reps for key starters, the line has moved downward ever so slightly. The Patriots are now favored by 11 and a half points by some. Buffalo is 6-8-1 against the spread. New England is 8-6-1 against the spread.

The over/under is 51 points, which seems like a given even if Tom Brady and the others do only get limited reps.
