Randy Moss To New England Patriots ‘Not Going To Happen’
Reports say Moss won’t be returning to the Titans but Moss himself has expressed an interest in returning to the Patriots. According to the Boston Globe, that won’t be happening. Shalise Manza Young reports in a mailbag item that Moss likely won’t be back in New England.
That’s about what we expected. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick probably wouldn’t have made the trade with the Vikings if he felt Moss had a lot left to offer New England.

So who could take in an occasionally disgruntled veteran who could have quite a bit of talent remaining?
Rex Ryan. The Jets head coach has been known to bring in veterans before and, according to Pro Football Talk, the Jets have some interest in Moss. It makes sense because the Jets would not only add a veteran receiver but also keep him away from the Patriots, if they were to express interest.

For Moss’s part, he sure sounds like someone who wants to go back to the Patriots. We’re not sure if that will happen but there is one team we can cross off the list -- a return to the Titans.
Tennessee GM Mike Reinfeldt said this week that the Titans won’t try to re-sign him. Moss will be a free agent whenever the NFL lockout is lifted.

Moss has made it known in the last few months how much he likes Bill Belichick. Following the Vikings loss to the Patriots last year (when Moss was on the Vikings), he spent his post-game press conference talking about how much he loved playing in New England. It was an odd situation to say the least but, then again, Moss is considered an odd duck at times.
