Randy Moss Won’t Return To Tennessee Titans

We've been wondering where WR Randy Moss will land next. Last season he changed zip codes a few times as the New England Patriots traded him to the Minnesota Vikings, who then released him. His next stop was the Tennessee Titans, who claimed him off waivers.

For Moss’s part, he sure sounds like someone who wants to go back to the Patriots. We’re not sure if that will happen but there is one team we can cross off the list -- a return to the Titans.

Tennessee GM Mike Reinfeldt said this week that the Titans won’t try to re-sign him. Moss will be a free agent whenever the NFL lockout is lifted.

This isn’t breaking news by any stretch of the imagination. Moss was ineffective in Tennessee and I didn’t ever expect the Titans to try to bring him back.

So what’s Moss’s next step? He apparently wants it to be the Patriots but we’re not sure if New England would bring him back. After the Pats, it’s hard to find a suitor for Moss. He still has some talent remaining but his volatile 2010 season may make some teams think twice.
