NFL Free Agency Rumors: Braylon Edwards Says Jets Don’t Want Him

It's looking like New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards will have a new home next season. His return to New York was unlikely after the Jets gave Santonio Holmes a big contract and flirted with signing Randy Moss, at least according to the latest NFL free agency rumors. It's even more unlikely now that Edwards has sent the following message out on his Twitter account.

I would love to be a Jet but the feeling doesn’t seem to be mutual with the management.

He has since deleted that tweet, but later sent this one out.

On another note whatever team wants B easy step to the fore front so we can get this thing moving forward. "will work for touchdowns" lolless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

It is unclear where Edwards will wind up. The Redskins were reportedly among those interested, but they have also signed Donte' Stallworth and Brandon Stokley while trading for Jabar Gaffney on Wednesday.
