The entire Nnamdi Asomugha saga was just bizarre, from the beginning of his free agency journey to the end. All day, most were calling the Asomugha chase a battle between the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys, with the Jets holding a slight advantage. Both teams were making offers, counter-offers and staying in contact with Asomugha. At one point, the Cowboys' media corps was even spying on Jerry Jones as he made calls many thought were related to the free agent corner.
