While the Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets both lost out on cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to the Eagles, they are now competing for the services of cornerback Antonio Cromartie, according to the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora. While they are the top two interested teams in Cromartie, La Canfora believes there may be a third team involved in this pursuit, as well.
Raiders, Jets Battling For Antonio Cromartie, According To Report
For the Jets, they are likely selling Cromartie on what the Jets accomplished with him last season and on how large of a role he will have with the team on getting to the Super Bowl this season. Cromartie played the first four years of his career with the San Diego Chargers.
