Vikings Vs. Titans: Game Time, TV Schedule, Position Battles And More
Two teams, the Vikings and the Titans, with two very similar quarterback situations will face off against each other on Saturday night in Nashville.
The Vikings will go to Nashville to take on the Titans on Saturday night for week one of the 2011 NFL preseason schedule. For the Vikings, it will be our first chance to see two quarterbacks in purple for the first time. Veteran free agent signee Donovan McNabb will be making his debut as a viking as well as rookie first-round pick Christian Ponder. At tight end, Visanthe Shiancoe has been battling a hamstring injury which might open the door for their second-round pick, Kyle Rudolph to make a move.
The Titans will also debut two new quarterbacks. Veteran Matt Hasselbeck will take the field in the Titans uniform for the first time as will rookie first-round pick Jake Locker. Who won't be taking the field for the Titans is their electrifying running back, Chris Johnson, who, at this point, is in the middle of a contract battle with the team. Keep an eye out for Titans rookie outside linebacker Akeem Ayers, who has looked impressive so far in camp.
