The Chicago Bears travel to the New Meadowlands to face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, wrapping up the second week of the 2011 NFL preseason. The Bears are coming off a 10-3 victory over the Buffalo Bills, which featured a fairly dominant run game that rolled up 164 yards on 35 carries. The Bears will continue working in rookie right tackle Gabe Carimi against a solid Giants pass rush.
The Giants are coming off a 20-10 loss but are just looking to get tuned up for the regular season. The Giants have had to deal with their top pick (Prince Amukamara) breaking his foot and their top pass rusher (Osi Umenyiora) being extremely disgruntled about his contract situation. The Giants are basically looking to escape the preseason without injuries and not a whole lot more.
