An injury-riddled St. Louis Rams team will travel to New York to take on the Giants for a primetime game on ESPN's Monday Night Football. The NFL odds opened with the Giants as 4½ point favorites, but considering the Rams will likely be without starting running back Steven Jackson, that line could easily go up by the end of the weekend.
NFL Odds Week 2: Rams Vs. Giants
The Giants aren't a beacon of health by any means, either, as they placed five defensive players on the injured reserve before the season even began and might be missing defensive linemen Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora to boot on Monday night. The Eli Manning led offense should be able to get on track, though, following an opening-week letdown against divisional rival Washington Redskins.
The Rams are still a bit of a question mark as the status of reigning Rookie of the Year quarterback Sam Bradford is still in question. The wasn't required to submit an injury report on Wednesday, but Bradford -- along with top receiver Danny Amendola -- both sat at least part of last Sunday due to injury.
Considering the Rams will be either starting back-ups or playing injured guys at their top three skill positions, it’s probably safe to bet the under of 43 as they probably won’t be able to put too many points on the board.
