Just because Ted Ginn Jr. is finally looking like the player that some thought he'd be when he was the No. 9 overall pick of the 2007 draft; And just because Alex Smith looked kinda like a quarterback who could have theoretically been a No. 1 overall pick; And just because the San Francisco 49ers are coached by last year's hottest commodity Jim Harbaugh; Oh, did we also mention that Tony Romo had one of his patented late-game collapses last week? Well, the experts aren't letting any of that sway them, as the Dallas Cowboys have been installed as the overwhelming favorite of this Week 2 matchup, even if people like Sports Illustrated's Peter King is a less than firm:

Romo's Resuscitation. It had better be. Starting 0-2 for the Cowboys, with the improved Redskins and dangerous Detroit coming up before the early bye, would be brutal for their playoff chances.
Those don’t exactly sound like the kind of words you’d attach to a team you picked to win by 10 points, but that’s exactly what King did. SB Nation’s Andrew Sharp voiced similar levels of concern, while also picking the Cowboys.
It’s hard to see the same level of conflict at CBS, where all five experts picked the Cowboys, or at ESPN, where 8 of 10 went with Dallas.
