The Baltimore Ravens have appeared on both sides of the football spectrum after two weeks of the 2011 season. After a strong showing against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens fell flat against the Tennessee Titans on the road, 26-13. However, that won't stop them from being favored this week against the St. Louis Rams on the road. The early odds on this game, as provided by Odds Shark, have the Ravens favored by 3-1/2 points. This could be a close game between the teams.
NFL Odds Week 3: Ravens Vs. Rams
The Baltimore Ravens head to St. Louis for a road showdown with the St. Louis Rams. They are 3-1/2 point favorites over the home team.
The Ravens just locked up defensive tackle Haloti Ngata to a new contract, but of more immediate concern are injuries to wide receiver Lee Evans and first-round draft pick Jimmy Smith. Both are hurt by ankle injuries and Smith's will have him out for several more weeks. Evans could go, but his ankle is not fully healed yet.
The Rams, though, are hurt with multiple injuries at running back. Steven Jackson missed all but a few minutes of Game 1 and then was out for Monday's game against the Giants. While the team hopes he can play this week, Jackson did not practice on Wednesday. His backup, Cadillac Williams, also missed practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Sam Bradford needs to start finding the end zone more, as he has just one touchdown pass this season.
