NFL Odds Week 3: Redskins Vs. Cowboys
The 1-1 Dallas Cowboys host the 2-0 Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football.
Romo not only overcame a broken rib to lead the Cowboys to a 27-24 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, reports surfaced that Romo also sustained a punctured lung. The veteran quarterback is considered day-to-day and is expected to be under center when they host their longtime NFC East rivals on Monday night.
The Redskins come into Monday night's game at 2-0 and a game up on the rest of the NFC East. Quarterback Rex Grossman has passed for 596 yards and four touchdowns through two weeks this season. The last time Grossman faced the Cowboys he had topped 300 yards passing with four touchdowns, but the Redskins may want to keep it on the ground with their emerging 1-2 punch of Tim Hightower and Roy Helu, who combined for 30 carries and 170 yards in last week's win over the Arizona Cardinals.
