The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills are both undefeated at this early juncture of the NFL season. Unfortunately for the upstart Bills, however, the NFL odds have the Patriots favored to leave Ralph Wilson Stadium as the victors on Sunday.
NFL Odds Week 3: Patriots Vs. Bills
The Patriots and Bills meet up on Sunday for a battle between undefeated AFC East teams.
The Bills are nine-point underdogs to the visiting Patriots, not surprising considering Buffalo has come out on the losing end of their meetings for the last 15 -- yes, fifteen -- straight games between the two AFC East rivals.
Ultimately, this could end up being a shootout as both Tom Brady and Ryan Fitzpatrick have aired it out for seven touchdowns apiece through the first two games of the NFL season and the teams rank first and third in the NFL for points scored thus far this season.
If anything favors the home team, it's that the Patriots are ranked second-to-last on the defensive side of the ball and are dealing with numerous injuries in their defensive backfield, not to mention the absence of tight end Aaron Hernandez on offense.
The current over-under is 50½, by the way. Considering New England has gone with the over in 12 of its last 13 games and the Bills aren’t offensively inept, it might make sense to make a wager on that as well.
