Kenny Britt has been far and away the most consistent offensive threat for the Tennessee Titans so far this season, but it appears that his season is going to be ended prematurely. Britt was taken out of Tennessee's game against the Denver Broncos in the second quarter after suffering a knee injury. He was taken off of the field on a cart and obviously did not return. The team has scheduled an MRI for Monday.
Kenny Britt Injury: MRI Scheduled For Monday, Season Ending ACL Tear Feared
Though the MRI could confirm that the injury is not as bad as first feared, many people, including Adam Schefter of ESPN, believe that Britt’s season will end with a serious ACL and MCL injury. If Britt tore both his ACL and MCL, he will almost certainly require season-ending surgery. A report on the NFL Network concluded that season-ending surgery is exactly what is expected for Britt this week.
