Kenny Britt Injury: Titans WR Has 2nd Knee Surgery On Wednesday

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt had a second surgery on his right knee on Wednesday. Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that it was arthroscopic surgery to repair a "minor issue" with Britt's surgically-repaired right knee.

Titans general manager Ruston Webster called the procedure “commonplace” and Britt is not expect to have any setbacks as a result of the second surgery. The Titans GM hopes to have Britt back in action for the start of the 2012 season.

Britt injured his knee in Week 3 last season, and had to have surgery to repair both his ACL and MCL. He was on pace for a big year, after accumulating more than 270 receiving yards and scoring three touchdowns in the Titans’ first two games of the season.

Tennessee added Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright in the 1st-round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
