Week 6 NFL lines and odds, Colts vs. Jets: New York favored in opening line

The New York Jets are favored in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts.

The New York Jets are favored by two points, with the total set at over 42 in the opening line for Week 6's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, according to SB Nation Odds powered by OddsShark.com. OddsShark currently has the Jets favored by three points with the total set at over 42.5.

Despite being underdogs in Monday night's meeting with the Houston Texans, New York was able to go toe-to-toe with arguably the best team in the NFL. Of course, the Jets ultimately came away with the loss, but the margin of defeat was far closer than many were predicting.

Indianapolis will enter Sunday fresh off an emotional come-from-behind victory against the Green Bay Packers. WIth head coach Chuck Pagano recently diagnosed with leukemia, the Colts manufactured an impressive performance, which saw the team overcome a 21-3 halftime deficit. Rookie quarterback Andrew Luck finished the game 31-of-55 for 362 yards, two touchdowns, one interception and a rushing touchdown.

The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m., ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
