Patriots vs Seahawks: Wes Welker shook up on sideline after brutal hit

Brandon Browner buries Wes Welker after a catch, which is appropriate because he might be dead.

Wes Welker is going to need a moment. He just got killed by Brandon Browner and I'm sure that dying can't feel too good.

The good news is that Welker held on for the 7-yard catch. The better news is that after taking a moment on the sideline to remember who he was (and then getting excited because he remembered he’s a millionaire football player) Welker was able to go back into the game.

Insert something about Welker being “gritty” and “scrappy” and “tough.” Okay, coming back from the dead probably does make him pretty tough. I wonder if “Zombie Wes Welker” can get a new contract?
