DeMarco Murray injury: Cowboys RB likely out again in Week 10

The Cowboys have not eclipsed 100 yards rushing in a game since Murray suffered a sprained left foot.

Out with a foot injury since Week 5, the Cowboys don't expect running back DeMarco Murray to be back in their lineup for their Week 10 road game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Murray, 24, started each of the first five games of the season for the Cowboys before spraining his left foot in a game against the Ravens. Before the injury, Murray had accumulated 330 yards rushing on 75 carries with one touchdown. Modest numbers after starting the season with 131 yards on 20 carries in the season opener against the New York Giants.

With Murray out of the lineup for each of the last three games, the Cowboys have won one of the games, but enter Week 10's matchup against the Eagles after back-to-back losses. The team has not eclipsed 100 yards rushing in each of the three games, including just 19 yards rushing in a loss to the Giants in Week 8, although that was due to a need to rally from an early deficit as Tony Romo threw 62 passes in the game.
