Eagles fall flat after strong start vs. Redskins

    Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles have now lost 10 of their last 11 games, and it’s pretty likely that the embattled Reid will be on his way out at the end of the season. The team had very high expectations entering the year, and at 4-11, the season has turned into a disaster.

    Pierre Garcon has solid day

Ever since coming back from a foot injury, Garcon has been a force in Washington. In the last five games Garcon has 429 yards and three touchdowns.

Fantasy Impact: Garcon has become a reliable fantasy producer at the end of the season. He was held out of the end zone, but still contributed in a big way. Garcon’s foot injury kept him out much of the season, but he since coming back he’s showed that he is a an every week fantasy starter.

    Alfred Morris has strong performance

    Alex Trautwig

Fantasy Impact: Morris had a great fantasy season and really came through in the fantasy playoffs with four touchdowns in the last three weeks. If you have a fantasy matchup in Week 17, keep Morris in your lineup.

After being named a surprise starter for the Redskins, Morris was probably the fantasy sleeper of the season this year.

McCoy looks solid in first game back

    Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Fantasy Impact: There was some concern about how much McCoy and Brown would split touches, but McCoy showed that he is clearly still the number one option in Philly. He failed to find the end zone, but got enough yards to be productive and really came through in PPR leagues with nine receptions.

The lack of touchdowns is a concern for McCoy, but he is the top back and will receive the majority of the touches going forward.

RG3 returns with crucial victory over Eagles

    Patrick McDermott

Losers: Despite throwing for more than 300 yards and a touchdown, Foles was intercepted once and fumbled once. Both of the rookie’s turnovers led to points for the Redskins and he under-threw a potential game-tying touchdown pass in the final seconds.

Eagles lose as only the Eagles can

The Eagles were called for an illegal forward pass and the penalty was a 10-second runoff, ending the game. An appropriate final home game (probably) for Reid’s career as Philadelphia head coach.

Philadelphia is woefully out of the race at 4-10 and just playing out the string, with this likely to be the last home game for Andy Reid.

There are plenty of big names that won’t be dressing for Philadelphia, with the following list as the inactives, per Jeff Warner:

    Redskins favored over Philly

    USA TODAY Sports

The total for this one is right around 45, which seems pretty safe considering the Redskins have put up 31 by themselves in four of the last five weeks. Washington has also won its last five games SU and ATS. The Eagles have lost their last five SU and ATS at home.

In their first meeting this year, the Redskins dominated the Eagles, 31-6 in Washington. This one will kick off right around 1 p.m. on Sunday in Philadelphia.
