Andy Reid a coaching candidate for Cardinals, Jaguars, according to report

The Eagles will likely part ways this week with Andy Reid, who is reportedly already calling around the league to prepare a staff for a potential opening with a new team in 2013.

It's the final Sunday of the 2012 regular season, which means the 2013 coaching carousel is firing up. One name who will be the focus of plenty of rumors is Andy Reid, current Eagles coach and an expected casualty of Black Monday. If Reid is indeed fired this week, his name will immediately come up for a number of other expected openings, including head coaching positions with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals.

In anticipation of being let go by the Eagles, Reid has been calling around the league to try to put together a staff for his next stop, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN. Reid's name has repeatedly surfaced over the past month as a potential replacement for Norv Turner, who will likely be fired by the Chargers. Graziano reports that the Chargers are leaning in a different direction and are not considering Reid as a top candidate. He floats the Cardinals and Jaguars as two other possibilities. Ken Whisenhunt and Mike Mularkey are two other coaches reportedly on the hot seat with those respective teams.

After 14 years in Philly, it appears Reid is not ready to take a break from coaching, regardless of where he ends up next season.
