AFC West injury report, Week 17: Broncos head to playoffs healthy

The AFC West watched the season come to a close without any significant injuries.

The Denver Broncos won the AFC West and will have home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs after beating the hapless Kansas City Chiefs 38-3 on Sunday afternoon.

Denver is the only team in the division that will enjoy postseason play, and it will do so relatively healthy. Nobody suffered any serious injury against the Chiefs, and anyone with bumps and bruises will have a few weeks to recover before the AFC Divisional round.

Kansas City ended it’s miserable campaign as it started, being blown out. However, nobody was hurt outside of Donald Stephenson, who exited in the first half with a shoulder injury.

The same healthy story goes for the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders, who played one another Sunday in a meaningless affair. The Chargers won 24-21 in front of some home fans at Qualcomm Stadium, giving them a way to end the season on a high note. Oakland will be drafting with the No. 3 overall pick in April.
