Stephen Hill injury: Jets WR hurts right knee, questionable to return
New York Jets rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill has suffered a right knee injury in the Jets’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. His return to the game is questionable.
The rookie receiver was limited in practice this week with a knee injury and he was a game-time decision for Sunday’s visit to Jacksonville. Hill slipped while being interfered with and he stayed down on the field.
Hill has 21 catches for 252 yards this season. He has scored three touchdowns in 10 games.
Hill was coming off one of his best games of his rookie season last week. In Week 13 against Arizona, Hill matched his career high with five catches for a total of 40 yards.
The rookie out of Georgia Tech was a second-round draft pick of the Jets in the 2012 NFL draft.
The Jets are currently locked in a scoreless tie with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game is being broadcast on CBS.
