Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil was arrested on Saturday night in Miami, Fla., according to a report.
According to the report by CBS 4 in Denver, Dumervil was accused of aggravated assault with a firearm and his bail has been set at $7,500. Further details of his arrest have yet to be released.
The Denver Broncos issued a statement on the arrest:
“Our organization is aware of the matter and is continuing to gather the facts. This is a very serious allegation, and we will thoroughly review the details while the legal process runs its course.”
